The Opportunity

The Videographer/Editor/Photographer position at Aaron’s Estate Sales is a role in our Sales and Marketing Division in the Creative Department.

This position will work as part of our creative team to design and build our brand, create content for multiple digital platforms, as well as in-house training through high-quality videography and photography.

You will be developing strong video / photo concepts for different departments within the organization used for organic promotion, paid advertising, and brand awareness and product assets. You will be responsible for seeing these concepts all the way through from pre-production to delivery.

Responsibilities

• Create content that is optimized for social media platforms with current best practices
• Cohesively tell a story through NLE (non-linear editing) using video, graphics, music, and sound design.
• Meet with internal team members to establish the desired feel and look for the video to be created
• Operate computer editing systems and equipment used for video content creation
• Establish a clear understanding of the storyline and purpose of the video’s creation
• Improve video and sound quality using various video software
• Edit video to include preselected music, interviews, sound clips and other important aspects of the project
• Ensure the correct formatting and presentation for finalized videos according to specifications
• Record and edit videos for our YouTube channel
• Livestream educational content from the companies owner onto youtube, facebook, etc.
• Work closely with the creative team to develop and test new ideas for campaigns
• Self-manage time to maximize output
• Work with the overseas team for Distibution of content
• Manage and report daily and weekly statistics to management

Qualifications

• 5 years + experience in professional video editing
• Advanced level of knowledge in the Adobe Creative Suite is mandatory, particularly Adobe Premiere and Adobe After Effects
• Color grading knowledge is a plus
• Animation and Motion Graphics experience is extremely helpful
• Ability to multitask and work toward several milestones on various projects simultaneously
• Excellent communication skills are required to have a solid understanding of project scope and implementation
• Ability to collaborate well with other creative professionals to supply clients with top-notch finalized products.
• Knowledge of audio postproduction

This is a full-time, in office and on location Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm with additional hours/times as needed in Ferndale MI
